2024-2025 PKD 12,500 School Challenge Donation

In 2020, PKD teamed up with individuals, families, and companies to bring over 2,500 books to children whose families had lost their jobs in the oil and gas industry. This was an extremely fulfilling project that was vitally important during the holidays.

And now we're on a bigger mission. There are over 6,600 PreK/K/Elementary schools in Texas. 600+ in New Mexico. 1,100+ in Oklahoma. 1,100+ in Louisiana. 3,200+ in Pennsylvania. Just those handful of states alone puts the school tally at over 12,500 - and we want to get books into all of them. We want kids to look out the car window as they're driving down I-20 and say, "That's a drilling rig," or look at a wheat field and say, "That's a combine." And even better yet - to be able to look at someone who has served or is serving our country, truly understand the sacrifices they have made, and say, "Thank you for your service."
